[Music Monday] 3 Doors Down - Us and the Night

Ist denn schon wieder Montag? Warum vergeht das Wochenende eigentlich immer so schnell? So oder so, es lässt sich nicht ändern und es ist wieder Zeit für den Music Monday! Meine heutige Wahl fiel auf das neue Album von 3 Doors Down: Us and the Night! 

Der Künstler

3 Doors Down ist eine der Bands, die mich schon seit gefühlten Ewigkeiten begleitet. Als junger Teenie kam ich zum ersten Mal mit ihnen in Kontakt durch den Song "Let Me Go", der mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf ging und mir durch den ein oder anderen Liebeskummer durch half. Seit diesem Tag bin ich großer Fan der Band und kaufte mir jedes der sechs Studioalben und höre sie auch nach vielen Jahren noch. Eine ungebrochene Liebe! 

Die amerikanische Rockband wurde 1996 gegründet und hatte 2000 ihren ersten Hit mit Kryptonite. Ihre Alben und Singles sind seitdem häufig in den Charts vertreten und die Band gewann mehrere Awards. 

Die CD

Us and the Night ist das neueste Album der Band, welches im Mai 2016 erschien. Es enthält insgesamt 11 neue Songs, welche alle schön rockig und gefühlvoll sind. Im Booklet der CD sind übrigens alle Lyrics enthalten! Super!

Das Album ist ein gekonnter Mix aus gefühlvollen Balladen und Rocknummern. Wie immer macht es rießen Spaß, die Band zu hören. Die markante Stimme des Sängers kommt wunderbar zur Geltung und musikalisch ist alles top. Wie immer ein sehr empfehlenswertes Album von 3 Doors Down!

is it already monday? Why is the weekend always moving so fast? Well, it´s time for another Music Monday! My choice for today is the new album by 3 Doors Down: Us and The Night!

The band 

3 Doors Down is one of those bands who I listen to for ages. I first listend to them in my young teenie years with the song "Let me Go" and since then I never stopped. The song helped me through some lovesickness and I´m a big fan since then! I bought every single album and after all this years I still love them. 
The american rockband was founded in 1996 and they had their first big hit in 2000 with Kryptonite. Their albums and singles were often in the charts since then and the band one several awards. 

The CD

Us and the night is the newest album by 3 Doors Down and it was published in may 2016. It contains 11 new songs, all rocksongs and emotional ballads.

The CD is a great mix of rocksongs and emotional ballads. As always it makes a lot of fun listen to it! The striking voice of the singer match perfectly with the music. Like always a great album by 3 Doors Down.
